Wonderful Reader for All Levels of Curriculum Studies

When buying books for class, it is difficult to know what you will get - I have had some great ones and some real lemons. The Curriculum Studies Reader, however, is wonderful. With a wide assortment of authors (from Dewey to Doll and Noddings to Eisner), this is the perfect book for students of all levels. There are contemporary pieces and more traditional works, but each chapter is a short article which is completely manageable. The editors did a wonderful job of compiling a sound, engaging and valuable collection of works on curriculum studies throughout the ages.

Ordered for a doctoral level curriculum course, and I actually really enjoy reading this book. It is made up several readings from different authors at various points in history. It's interesting, if you're into the study of curriculum, like I am.
