Dr Peter Ling is with the School of Media and Communication, RMIT University. He has been Deputy Dean since 2011 responsible for discipline clusters and recently the international portfolio. Before he entered academia with Edith Cowan University, he had worked in team creativity consulting, advertising agency management, marketing communication consultancy, public relations and journalism. He has worked in Singapore, Taipei, Perth and Melbourne, including training attachments with Young & Rubicam Advertising in New York and Lintas Advertising in Sydney. He has written hundreds of industry articles and cases for various publishers and is the lead author of Consumer Behaviour in Action (OUP).

I listen to Eric Lofholm every week with his motivational messages. When I downloaded this book, I was looking for the same type of style that he presents in his audio messages.
This book gives me the "nuts-and-bolts" feel of his presentations. Eric provides the facts of how to create more sales, and asks insightful questions to make sure that YOU are doing the ideas he describes. Don't allow the typos to annoy you - if you see them, that means he has your attention.
Some of the ideas are obvious, yes. Does that mean you're implementing them? I was surprised to see that I was not!

Some of the technical detail is simply beyond me, but this is still an interesting read for readers interested in naval affairs. I simply had no idea of the complex interconnections that enter the equation.

There are so many ways a ship can be detected--radar, sonar, satellite tracking, wake, cavitation, reflection. And there are so many variables in making a ship stealthy, so to speak. These include humidity, temperature, ocean depth and currents, and many other factors. It seems as if stealth technology works well for small ships and if difficult for larger units. No wonder the US Navy seems to be changing to littoral ships.

A reader better educated in the technology than I am might benefit more. What I have taken away from this book (available at my university library) is an appreciation of the very advanced systems a modern navy must master in order to remain effective.

DC Alden is a UK-based thriller writer, filmmaker and screenwriter whose work encompasses a hugely entertaining mix of mystery, conspiracy, action/adventure, political and military/war genres. Born in London, DC's career has encompassed a variety of roles, from soldier to technical consultant, including work on many popular films and TV shows.�
His film work began when he answered an advert for former soldiers, after which he was chosen to work on Steven Spielberg's Band of Brothers, alongside Tom Hanks, Damien Lewis and Donnie Wahlberg. The experience reignited his lifelong passion for film and screenwriting, and a few months later he was enrolled at a London film school where he went on to make a several short films and a documentary about life on set�(Band of Brothers--An Extra's Life), using previously unseen footage.
His first novel, Invasion, grew from a film script he conceived while researching a short for the Cannes Film Festival. Really rubbish end......the rest was brilliant

This was a great book and I thoroughly enjoyed it until the end. It felt like the author had no idea how to finish it and so didn't.....or just killed people off.....hugely disappointing as it was a terrifyingly realistic read that should have gone on for at least 100 extra pages....

This was an excellent terrorism thriller, and very prophetic about the refugee situation currently happening in Europe. It was very well written, and contains plenty of unexpected twists and turns along the way. Here's to hoping D.C. Alden keeps writing new material!

I currently use Kaplan for practicing nclex style questions but I wasn't happy with the content review. I came across Regina Callion's youtube video's and found this book. I cannot tell you how much this has been helping me to review content material. There are no hours spent reading pages and pages, chapter after chapter trying to pick out the need to know information. With this book I am reviewing need to know content only, right there in black and white! It is straight to the point and extremely easy to read and comprehend. I have noticed a few drugs listed as trade name but that is an easy fix for me because I have just written in the generic name next to the trade name. I am already feeling more confident about passing Nclex. There is an order to my studying now and I had felt chaos in trying to decide what content I needed to look up.

Love this book! It is straight to the point and gives you exactly what you need to review before the big day. I read this book three weeks prior to my exam and then reviewed the info, and read the book again the night before my test. I just took the NCLEX this week and passed with 75? Plus the main topics on my test I knew because of this book. Totally worth it and good luck to everyone!

Amazing book so easy to use and read!!

I am a repeat test taker the first 2 times I took it I felt unprepared but still took the nclex both times got 265 questions which is the max amount one would get and knew I failed. After the second time taking it and knowing I failed I knew I needed to do something different. I found this review course but didn't have the time to buy the dvds and do that program so I just bought this book put in the time and watched some free remarr videos on YouTube and BAMM! 78 questions and NEW I PASSED!!!
